When you invest in a luxury wig, you are not simply purchasing hair—you are investing in a piece that is carefully made to suit you. At Sandra Jon, every custom wig is created with intention, precision and attention to detail.
Our custom process takes 10–15 business days because quality cannot be rushed. From selecting the right bundles to constructing, colouring, styling and inspecting your finished unit, every stage plays an important role in creating a wig that looks beautiful, feels luxurious and is made to last.
1. Sourcing & Selecting the Bundles
Every great wig begins with great hair.
The process starts with carefully sourcing and selecting the bundles that will be used for your unit. We consider the texture, length, quality and overall consistency of the hair to ensure the bundles work beautifully together.
This stage is particularly important for custom orders because the finished wig needs to have a cohesive look and feel. Rather than rushing through the selection process, we take the time to identify hair that meets our quality standards before construction begins.
2. Wigging: Building Your Unit to Your Measurements
Once the hair has been selected, the bundles are carefully constructed into your wig using the measurements provided with your order.
A custom wig should not simply be a standard size with a few adjustments. The measurements help guide the construction of the unit so that the cap is made with your specifications in mind.
Our team works carefully through the construction process, paying attention to the placement, density and overall structure of the hair. This is where individual bundles begin to become a finished Sandra Jon unit.
3. The Art of Colouring
For clients who request a custom colour, this is one of the most detailed stages of the process.
Custom colouring is more than simply applying a colour to the hair. The desired tone, depth and finish must be carefully considered while maintaining the quality and integrity of the hair.
From colour formulation and processing to rinsing, treatment and final assessment, each step requires precision. The goal is not only to achieve a beautiful colour but to ensure the hair remains soft, healthy-looking and luxurious.
This is why customised colour takes time—and why we never compromise the process simply to work faster.
4. Styling & Customisation
Once the wig has been constructed and, where requested, coloured, we move on to styling and any additional customisation selected by the client.
This could include creating a particular curl pattern, adding volume, adjusting the overall shape or achieving a specific finish.
Because every client has a different vision, custom styling allows the finished unit to feel more personal. The objective is to bring the requested look to life while ensuring the wig remains polished, wearable and true to the original design.
5. Quality Assurance
Before your wig leaves our hands, it goes through a final quality check.
We inspect the finished unit carefully to ensure the construction, hair quality, colour, styling and overall appearance meet our standards. Details matter at this stage because the final result should reflect the level of craftsmanship you expect when investing in a Sandra Jon wig.
Only after the unit has passed its final inspection is it prepared for dispatch.
6. Packaging & Shipping
The final stage is preparing your completed unit for its journey to you.
Once your wig has passed quality assurance, it is carefully packaged and prepared for shipping to our clients in Nigeria and internationally.
At this point, the waiting is almost over. What began as carefully selected bundles has now become a personalised wig created specifically for your order.
Why 10–15 Business Days?
The 10–15 business day timeframe is not simply a waiting period—it represents the time required to properly execute each stage of the custom process.
Sourcing. Construction. Colouring. Styling. Quality assurance. Shipping preparation.
Each stage contributes to the final result, and rushing one stage can compromise another. We believe your investment deserves patience, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
At Sandra Jon, we would rather take the time to get your wig right than rush it out before it is ready.
Good hair takes time. Exceptional hair is worth the wait.
